It’s the first game of Blackjack that includes a Multiplier feature, where player wins can be multiplied up to a maximum of 1000 times their bet!
In this review, I’ll explain how to play, point out the differences from standard blackjack, and talk about the best strategy for playing Quantum Blackjack.
If you’ve played Blackjack before you’ll have no problems.

Quantum Blackjack is played with an 8 Deck Shoe. The decks are shuffled after each game round has completed.Up to 3 Cards with Multipliers are selected before each game round. There is only one player hand dealt that an unlimited number of players can play. Each player plays the hand as they want to. Only the cards they have selected are deployed in the playing interface. Additional cards other players take are not displayed. The dealer pushes on a 3 card bust.Your main bet amount is not returned if you win with a multiplier in your hand. All other normal blackjack game rules apply.
Live Quantum Blackjack offers players a chance to get a payout of up to 1000 x on a winning hand of Blackjack.
It’s more likely the multiplier will be 3x or 5x, but the opportunity is there to get more.
Prior to a game round beginning, up to 3 cards in the dealing shoe are selected by a Random Number Generator (RNG) and have multipliers, up to 10x,? assigned to them.
During the game round, if the player hand is dealt a card with one or more of the multipliers, the winning payout amount will be multiplied by those amounts.
Things to note:
The multipliers are paid if the player hand beats the Dealers hand. The Dealer Pushes on a 3 card Bust (which is how they pay for the multipliers). This means your stake is returned to you unless a multiplier is active in the hand. If that’s the case the multiplier is paid.If there is more than one multiplier in the player’s hand they are multiplied together to produce the final payout, i.e 5x X 5x is 25x.In the event, you have a Multiplier win, your stake is not returned to you.
The game round is played exactly the same as a normal hand of Blackjack, the only rule difference is the dealer pushes when he busts with 3 cards.
The overall RTP for Quantum Blackjack is published as 99.47%, which includes the multipliers in the calculation.
However, it doesn’t feel that way when you’re playing. Normally when you’re getting wins your bank balance goes up
In Quantum Blackjack a lot of previous wins are now pushed. So while you get your stake back, you have to wait for a dealer bust with 4 cards or more, or you have to win outright to get a payout. Over the long term, it works out, as the RTP tells us it does.
But, and this is a big BUT, if you’re playing side bets and not winning, your bank balance will go down much more quickly than you realise. Unless you get a multiplier hit to compensate. It’s a fine balancing act.
You should still play using the Blackjack Basic Strategy. The playing rules haven’t changed, only the payout for a 3 card dealer bust.
It’s not a player win anymore it’s a Push.
How you play to get to that point hasn’t changed, so my advice is to still use Basic Strategy.
However, there is no doubt that having an active multiplier in your hand can influence the way you play. Do you want to chance drawing a card on 16 and quantum blackjack busting out? or do you want to stand and let the dealer bust out. It’s a difficult call.
Whatever you do, be consistent. If you chop and change you’ll never know what’s right for you.
The maths says follow basic strategy, however much that hurts sometimes!
If you prefer to see the game in action and hear what I’ve got to say about it watch my video review below.
It’s only a few minutes and I cover all of the things you need to know when playing this new live dealer blackjack game.

Quantum Blackjack differs in three ways from normal Blackjack:
Multipliers are applied to some cards, which change the payout of the player’s hand if he gets one or more during gameplay and the hands then beat the dealer’s hand. The dealer Pushes on a 3 card Bust, rather than losing and giving the player a winning payout. When you win with a multiplier in your hand your initial bet is NOT returned to you in the payout.
There’s 2 optional Side bets that can be played alongside the main hand.
The results of these bets are not tied to the main hand bet. These pay if they win, regardless of what happens with the main hand.
The bets can only be made if the main hand bet has been played first.
Perfect Pairs – The player’s initial 2 cards dealt need to form a pair. When that happens the payout is made.
21+3 – This bet combines the players first two cards and the dealers first card. They need to form a valid 3 card poker hand to win. Out of the side bets this is my favourite and the one I play most often.
Quantum Blackjack’s main hand RTP is 99.47%.Perfect Pairs RTP is 95.90%.21+3 RTP is 96.30%.
Live Dealer Quantum Blackjack can be played on Desktop, Mobile and Tablet.
The playing interface is intuitive, so knows when you’re in portrait or landscape mode and flips it’s orientation automatically as you move your device around.
The desktop only has one viewing mode, which is fine.
When I first started playing the thought of getting the multipliers really excited me.
I actually got a couple in the first few hands I played, which really helped introduce me to the game.
However there are times when the multipliers just don’t get dealt, so you need to have patience and treat your playing time as any other game of Blackjack.
When the multipliers are not hitting, you’ll notice your bank balance isn’t increasing as fast as it would with standard Blackjack.
The dealer pushing on a 3 card bust makes a huge difference to normal gameplay. It’s offset by the multipliers, but if they aren’t dropping during your playing session, it could result in you busting out a lot quicker.
Be careful if you’re also playing the side bets alongside, as they can also be a drain on your balance if you don’t hit one or two occasionally.
As for the multipliers, they hit every now and again. A 10x is nice and if you can win with a couple in your hand you’ll be laughing.
I think this is going to be a hit. It offers something different for other games of Blacks and may entice players who like the bigger payouts you get in Slot type games. It’s familiar enough though for existing Blackjack players to want to give it a try.
